A cute romantic hotel - FANTASTIC!
The hotel is located just 5 mins from the Old Town which was perfect for us as we only stayed for 1 night. We were welcomed by a friendly staff and a complimentary drink. The room was lovely, with a free mini bar, free internet and we also received 2 vouchers for a free drink in a restaurant. The hotel has a spa tub that we wanted to use but thought it was a bit overpriced, charging 100 euros for 2 hours. Apart from that the hotel was excellent!
Traveller's tip on dining
We’d also like to recommend a restaurant Le Monde, near Slovak National Theatre (about 5 mins walk from the hotel) where we’ve been served an amazing meal. We booked a table on the balcony and to tell the truth - nothing can beat that on a warm summer night!

Flawless
I was so impressed with the standards and service of this hotel. On arrival, I was given a complimentary drink, champagne chocolates and biscuits, in the room you have a free minibar, free internet access and satellite tv (with HBO movies etc free), they have a sun-terrace with free soft-drinks, and the restaurant is reasonably priced with excellent food and flawless service. The centre of town is 5-10 mins walk away. I would recommend this hotel to anyone!
The hotel restaurant serves excellent food and just outside it is an excellent pizza joint (Pizza Mia)

City Sanctuary
The Marrols is a little gem of a Hotel in a gem of a City. Not even the odd stag party can spoil the beautiful, old part of this city, with its cafes & restaurants, although the sooner the City Council complete works to the Danube river frontage the better. The Hotel was perfect, with a welcoming open log fire in the reception, small (free) mini bar each day and a smashing little roof garden for when the foot-slogging gets too much. A convenient location for a great stay
Or rather, local attraction NOT to visit. Bratislava’s Castle would normally be a magnet for visitors. However, it’s a long slog uphill to get there, and nil reward when you arrive, as the Castle itself is undergoing renovations and is effectively shut
