A Mixed Bag
After our airline (KLM) lost our luggage, we arrived at the hotel and were very disappointed with the room we were allocated. We had been given a double bed, instead of the twins that we had requested. The room was in a noisy spot, the bathroom was in a state of disrepair, the standard of cleanliness was poor and the air conditioning didn’t work. However, when I complained, the staff were very helpful and immediately agreed to move us to a better room - which was cleaner, quieter and had good air coniditioning. The location was pretty good, although there were a few unsavoury characters lurking around nearby in the evenings. On balance, I wouldn’t stay there again.

Very close to the station, but in a bad neighborhood
This hotel is rated 3-star, but in reality it is not. The hotel is fine for budget travelers, but it is somewhat rundown. Cleanliness was not a problem. The area between the hotel and train station is probably the worst in Nice. If you are just stopping in Nice for the night to sleep, this hotel is a good choice. Otherwise, it is far from the beach and other attractions in Nice.

Not a 3 Star Hotel
This hotel was terrible. The best and only good thing about it was the location. It was in the center of Nice but as me and my husband found out when we got there so were a lot of other hotels that were a lot nicer. This hotel has a three star rating but it is definitely not a three star hotel. I would rank it among one of the worst hotels I’ve ever had the displeasure of staying at. It is a two star hotel at best!!! The hotel had a stale smell to it. They didn’t give us enough towels and there was no shower curtain in the shower so the water ran onto the floor which is the reason you need extra towels to control the flow of the water running onto the floor. Also, the maids were not accomodating. We were told by one of them that they would not clean up our room since we were not out by the time she came by. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone unless you are on an extreme budget and have no where else to go.
