ok for the price (you get what you pay for)
Basically a hostel; shared restroom facilities; inconsistent water temperature; crammed room with little storage space; everyone at the counter were helpful & pleasant; good location close to Chapel St., otherwise paying more for a bigger room in the CBD might be a better bet.

Budget Works
This Hotel was a little off putting at first , but as you got used to it , there was no problem . Next to South Yarra stn , downtown was only 10 mins away . Beahfast was good , but room was small and basic . Also washing and drying facilities were spot on . Well worth it .
Money can be saved here , with lots of pubs and eateries around the corner .

Good accommodation in a great location
This is a very good and well run guesthouse. The staff we always friendly and helpful. The Claremont Guesthouse is two minutes away from a tram stop and South Yarra railway station. it is also two minutes away from Chapel Street which contain many restaurants, bars and even a cinema in the Jam factory. I would defiantly stay here again if I come back to Melbourne.
