Very happy with hotel

I stayed for 6 nights and was very happy with the hotel. The staff were very helpful and friendly. The room was very clean and comfortable, and the breakfast was great. I always want good internet access and it worked perfectly the whole time, and was FREE!! I found the location very useful as it is extremely close to the main train station. All-in-all, it was very good and will definitely go back next time I’m in Frankfurt. Access to the hotel is very simple - go all the way to platform 24, then find the open gate half way up (past the staff restaurant), go out, turn left on the road (you will see the post office opposite), and Ludwig strasse is first right. My one and only (very small) negative was that the TV did not have any English stations apart from BBC World. But that is very minor.

If you are there for a week, the weekly travel card was good value and gave access to bus, U-, S-Bahns and trams. It was even valid back to the airport

Wonderful Place to Stay

People are very nice and can speak English with no problem. The hotel is very near to main station as well as post office. For Asian food lovers, there are Chinese and Japanese restaurants next to hotel. If you need any stuff, you had better go to the inside of station where you can find many stores including Burger King.

Don’t expect romance

Be aware of this hotel, it has a nice breakfast, but some serious breakdowns. I was travelling with my wife and had requested a large bed for 2, instead they gave us 2 very tiny beds. When I asked for a change, they were rude and completely non-interested in helping out. They did not even offer to move me day 2 or 3 of our trip. In addition there is a large and very loud construction site next to the hotel that start at 7 am.
