Great location for holiday traveller

Enjoyed my stay very much. This hotel is comfortable and well presented, as well as reasonably priced for it’s class. I’m glad I didn’t pay extra for a hotel in the town centre, as this was conveniently located both to the old town, the beach, and the new museums and aquarium. There are plenty of cafe’s around and for some reason there is a pharmacy on nearly every corner!

Use the metro to get to the hotel (it’s a short walk from Amistat) but use taxi’s to get around town during your stay - in a group of three or more they are cheaper than public transport.

So-so Hotel in Valencia

This hotel was pretty good; it was clean and the room was a good size and pretty comfortable. Two things that precluded me from rating this hotel as a 5 are: 1) the hotel staff wasn’t that knowledgable about cool places to eat and hang out and often couldn’t give me the best route to take (i.e. bus, metro) to get to sights; 2) the location isn’t as great as I thought it would be based on what I read. It’s not in a bad location, but it’s not at a great location. I didn’t eat at the hotel so I cannot comment on the food at the hotel.

Impressed with Hotel Silken Peurta

Very comfortable large room - lovely bathroom and box of goodies. No tea/coffee making but cafeteria available til late. Very helpful desk staff checked flights etc and stored luggage. 10 minute walk to metro.30min walk into old town 20 min walk to Valencia’s stunning new architecture

Traveller's tip on getting the most out of your stay

Valencia’s tour bus (14 euros - two routes) is great for getting your bearings. Metro is right in airport terminal to town - 1.90 euros per trip same as buses or 10 trips for 10 euros.
