The Best Western Premier Hotel Cappello D'Oro is located in Bergamo downtown, between the railway station and the funicolar leading to Cittą Alta with its artistic treasures and medieval charm. The hotel boasts an ancient tradition. We have a renowned restaurant serving Italian and regional cuisine and a bar/lounge, exercise facility, sauna and tennis courts. The restaurant is open from 12:00 noon to 2:00 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. Sunday to Thursday, on Friday from 12:00 noon to 2:00 p.m. and is closed on Saturday. Our meeting room will accommodates up to 30 guests and business services which include catering. Outdoor parking is also available for a charge. The guest rooms at the Best Western Premier Hotel Cappello D'Oro were completely redecorated in 1997 and feature 16-inch cable television, telephone with dataports, coffee/tea maker, hairdryer, iron, ironing board, mini-bar, closet doors or armoire, china/ceramic and glass tumblers, turn down service and 24-hour room service.

A Good Hotel
We had a very pleasant stay in this hotel. The staff were very friendly. The hotel was very clean, comfortable and a great location.

Bergamo - Fantastic place to visit
Hotel Best Western Cappello d’Oro was great. Just up the main street from the railway station, easy access to public transport and on the main street through Bergamo Basa. Would recommend Bergamo, and this hotel, as a great place to stay. Bergamo is a fascinating place with the hill top village, old town and lower town, and easy to use local transport to visit other places. We went to Milan, and Desenzano (Lake Garda) using the train. No problems. Thoroughly recommend Bergamo as a base, and interesting place to visit. Hope to go again.
Traveller's tip
Bergamo isn’t a nightlife place, cafes tend to close about 8.00 p.m. Couldn’t find many places for our evening meal but don’t let this stop you from visiting the city.

Great location, clean and helpful staff
We arrived at 10:00 and they let us check in straight away, handing us our room keys whilst we had a coffee on the very pleasant first floor terrace. The bathroom was immaculate, the location was great (buses to and from the airport stop outside the hotel), breakfast offered lots of choice. The only point which could have been improved was the air quality in the bedroom, it had a slight smell and a good airing would have improved matters.
