Great View
Room was spatious and the view was very nice. There is a lot of construction in the area, but that is obviously temporary.

A fabulous city and a comfortable hotel
The Bund Riverside hotel is a comfortable place to stay in Shanghai and a good base from which to explore the city. At present there is a lot of construction work going on around the Bund area so it is not the prettiest place and so not an area that you will spend much time however pretty much everything in Shanghai is within close proximity and taxis are extremely cheap!
Traveller's tip on shopping
Fabulous ’designer’ handbags to be found at great prices in the french concession area. Go off the beaten track to find the best prices. Locals should be able to direct you, but don’t follow the touts!
