One day stop over on a weekend, near the airport

Very Impressed
I would highly recommend the Confortel Alcala Norte Hotel. The rooms are excellent, very clean and the bed and room size is good. They provide bottled water daily. Their breakfast buffet is very good with plenty of food and fresh fruit. It is one of the best breakfast buffets that I have ever seen. The hotel is located a long distance away from downtown. But, the bus runs across the street from the hotel. The metro station is located a few blocks away. It is about a fifteen minute walk. Front desk people are not very helpful. They do not talk very much. It is very much a business atmosphere.
Traveller's tip on saving a few bucks
If you want to save a few bucks, this is a very good hotel overall. The only problem is the distance from the hotel to downtown. However, the transportation is very good.

Great place to stay
This modern-styled hotel has excellent service. The room was quiet and comfortable. The breakfast buffet has a great selection of food. Transportation is easy to get. Bus transportation is practically across the street. Metro is between 5-10 minutes away.
