A safe bet
Location much better than it seems at first. Walk to beach and into the city. Plenty of buses if you don’t feel like walking. Room basic and bed not particularly comfortable and the air conditioning is something of a battle. A good base.

interesting look; good location
This hotel did not really look like a hotel at first. It actually looked like a corporate bldg and is in an industrial area. The toilet was a little dirty, but someone came and cleaned it after I called the front desk. The room looked very modern and different. I would have to say the location is the best as it is about a 5-8 min walk to the beach, and literally a one minute walk to the bus stop that can take you to the popular Ramblas, or the airport with a cost less than 10 euro per person. There is not too much in the general area, but that made it feel safer. We walked about 15min to the port restaurant/bar area where all the night life was which was quite nice. You can rent all day bikes right outside which would be a quick ride. Overall, I would stay there again.

Fine Modern Hotel
I was only at this hotel one night before a business meeting but I found the rooms excellent, the bathrooms wonderful and service at the front desk attentive. The hotel was a short walk from the water and a group of sea side restaurants.
