Like a Travelodge
It was situated in an industrial area of Cascina. The Hotel was just used as a base for us, as we hired a car. There was never enough coffee at breakfast, and even tried going down at different times. The view from the window was a building site. The view opposite the front entrance was a row of dustcarts.

Pleasant and conveniently located close to Pisa
Very pleasant hotel around a 20 minute drive from Pisa. Friendly staff, clean rooms, nice breakfast...just such a shame that it was situated in the middle of a bleak industrial estate. But if you want somewhere cheap to stay near Pisa, this place is great. We stayed after a week in Tuscany for an early flight from nearby Pisa airport the next morning. Very pleasant, and great price.
Bocco di Bacco was a great local restaurant in Cascina. No pizzas, just traditional Etruscan/Tuscan food. And it was quite reasonable. Might be an idea to book on weekend evenings...
