Perfect for our purpose.
My wife and I stayed here last weekend after a business conference outside Lisbon, and as a first visit to Portugal. We were pleasantly surprised by the hotels combination of large size and warm personal service. Its location for Lisbons main interests was perfect for us. We enjoy walking where comfortable. The distances were easy and nice, with public transport if needed. Our weather was also perfect, but if not, trams / buses / metro / taxis (comparatively cheap) were all very accessible. A nice sauna and swim before dinner were particularly welcome, one night followed by a meal in the top floor grill with rooftop view, very attractive as our mid-height room had no real view. No criticisms at all.

The worst coffee in town
Two things stand out - the coffee at breakfast was disgusting and undrinkable and the music in the restaurant (reminscent of Blackpool in the 1950s) was irritating and an assault on the ear. OVerall - a bit of a disappointment.
