Excellent Hotel Good Service Good Location Extorionate Wifi Crap Bars
Picked hotel as best * per £. 1st visit to dubai so difficult figuring if good location, especially considering scale of Dubai which isnt clear until you get there. But location good. Walkable to gold souk and by cheap bus taxi to center on other side of creek. BigBus tour excellent (exellent value for those with one or two days only) ...shame the reception told me the stop was miles away...rather than knowing it was out the front of the hotel next door. Most positive was that we arived at 5am expecting just to be able to store our luggage until formal checking at 2am but the reception guy (without us even asking) said he would get room made up and 30 minutes later we were in. Really great service. Negative is that the wifi is extorionate (i personally wouldnt stay there again for just this reason) at 20£ for 24hrs in room or 10£ for 2 hours in lobby. Several restuarants bars (most dead) and one more lively with some singers and dancers....

I’ve been this hotel for 3 days in Oct.,2008. Everything is normal. I’ll recommend to book other hotel if you can.
