Exceeded expectations...
Overall it is an excellent Hotel. Below the Lobby you can head out to the River Walk or to the Alamo on the other side. Very clean and comfortable and the gym and pool on the 11th floor is a great place to go relax, take in the view and a few pictures as well. I accidentally left a sports coat and called back to make sure it was there and they confirmed it. Living in Austin I told them I would go back and get it in a week or two. Three days later they called me back to let me know that they would be sending it to me via UPS at no charge to me!!!! This was very unexpected and exceeded my expectations, as this would never happened at other Hotels or Cities. So Yay!! To the Hyatt Regency and to San Antonio for such a great detail. One area they can improve on is having more literature and/or maps available as to the near by attractions in reference to our location.
Get there early and try to check in before the suggested 3 PM hr at no extra charge

Luxury beyond what I expected!
I did expect the hotel to be as wonderful as it was. I got a great deal for a wonderful room. It was such a bargain! I don’t think I could have picked a better hotel. I did not even realize how close it was to all of the night life and restaurants.
