Excellent quality/price
I have stayed in many budget hotels, and this one is definitely among the best budget hotels one could find (especially in Cannes), one that is also in a convenient location (next to the train station). I have not tried their breakfast--too expensive for a continental breakfast--but otherwise have been very pleased with the hotel. I would definitely stay there again.

Better than expected
Compared to other 2 star hotels in the area this hotel was a gem!
Traveller's tip on saving a few bucks
The cheapest private beach is beside the public one, at e3.60 for a chair and e3.60 for a parasol its great value plus the main beneift is you can bring in food and there is a bathroom onsite. The prices above are for a half day which opens at 1.30 - i’d advise to join the que at around 1.15 to get a space.

Okay for a few days - great location some bad points
GOOD - The hotel is situated in a great spot, opposite the station and a 2-3 minutes walk to the beach. This side of town has most places to eat and drink so location covers everything. I was not really impressed with the room though, an IBIS it is not which I usually stay on small breaks. The carpet was dirty, and the bed cover (which goes over the clean sheets) has not been washed in ages. All this aside if you are just using the shower and bed for the night then its perfect. One more bad thing is the noise from all the rooms up, down and next door..... !!!
