Okay but think we could have done better.
When we arrived we were told we had been upgraded. That was good as I do not think we would have been happy with any less than what we had. Most of the staff were very helpful. The breakfast was not great and some dishes (not really sure what they were) appeared to have been left on the table for the whole five days we were there. It was not a terrible experience but we probably could have done better even if we had to pay a bit more.

Unique and individual
Lovely hotel. Friendly helpful service. Splendid choice for breakfast. Very quiet location in spite of being within 200 yards of the Blue Mosque. You needed to be an acrobat to get in and out of the shower, but this in no way impaired the enjoyment of our stay.

A hotel I looked forward to going back to, after a day of sightseeing!
Just returned from a stay at Angel’s Home Hotel, and I was extremely satisfied with the service. The rooms were of a decent size (I stayed in a standard double), my room faced out on to the street and was airy and bright with the sun filtering in. The bed was very comfortable and there was plenty of storage space. On the downside, the bathroom was a little run down and dated and could do with replacing in the near future, nevertheless it was very clean. The service was excellent - a wide variety of items (both hot and cold) was available for breakfast. I recommend their pastry - it was delicous! A pity the coffee was instant though. Access to a high speed internet was a bonus, and the staff were very friendly and helpful. It was located about 5-10 mins walk from the main sites - therefore very central, and in the vicinity of many other hotels. The surrounding area is a little bit noisy at night with music, but that never bothered me - might be something to consider if you’re a light sleeper who likes to go to bed early. I had a very pleasant and comfortable stay and would recommend this hotel.

Visit a Hamam - it’s well worth it! I was a little wary to try it at first, but it’s one of the best experiences!
