Relaxing and informal
Quiet hotel even though it is on the sea front. Fantastic swimming pool at the rear of the hotel where the sun shines. We found the service good although we had seen reviews to the contrary.
Traveller's tip on saving a few bucks
Try the various travel agents in town before you book airport transfers . They can be almost twice the price at some.

Great Hotel with excellent facilities
The Regina Palace in Stresa,Italy is a spectacular hotel with all the amenities you expect in a first class hotel. The service is excellent, restaurant is superb and the surroundings fabulous. It is walking distance from Stresa which is a picturesque small town. I shall return in a near future. Very enjoyable.

Excellent hotel in Stresa
The Regina Palace is difficult to fault. We stayed for 9 nights. Excellent outdoor pool and sunbathing area, plus the indoor spa pool was an additional treat. The location on the lakeside provides wonderful views every time you walk out the doors. Its proximity to the town centre gives a very short, flat walk to the shops and restaurants, and ferry.
Traveller's tip on saving a few bucks
Stresa is easy to reach via train from Milan. The trains are cheap, clean and run to time.
