Central, convenient, but watch out for the 5th Floor
Hotel Conti is centrally placed and a short flat 10 minute walk from both the rail and bus stations and the heart of the Old Town. While not exceptional in any way the hotel offers a comfortable stay. But watch out for the budget rooms as these are quite a walk along corridors and up stairs from the lift, which only reaches the 4th floor! Once there the views through the rooflights can be rewarding, across the roofs of the city.
Traveller's tip on local attractions
Look for the Amber Museum in Sv Mikolo gatve, and then have a meal at the Gabi restaurant just along the street - both very well worth patronising. And, while in Vilnius do make the trip out to Trakai - a real treat on a summer evening.

Would go back
Very handy for Old Town and not too far from the station and close to bus stops.. The surrounding area is a bit decrepid but will improve with time.

This hotel does not seem to well eqipped to do evening meals, but the food was good when it finally came

So-So
Great location in the old city. The staff however was very unhelpful with our questions. Simple things like finding a certain bar, or asking if a place was close for food, the staff couldnt help us. Room was a good size and the hotel was clean. IF your a do-it-yourself traveler and you dont need help with tourist stuff, this hotel is perferct for you.
