Disappointing

I paid the extra money for a "junior suite" and it when I was taken to my room it was literally a room approximately 10’x10’ it was so small my girlfriend and I had to store some of our baggage in the bathroom (there was absolutely no room). I complained once and the hotel desk associate did nothing, he couldn’t care less. There were literally 2 working lights in the room, and the room was equipped with a total of 2 electrical outlets, there was no room to fully extend the ironing board. Thankfully the second time I complained they offered a deluxe suite (a completely better room) at an exorbitant price, which I refused on the count of I had already paid an arm and a leg more for a "junior suite" . I wouldn’t recommend paying extra for any junior suites unless you see the room physically, don’t trust the pictures on the website, they are highly inaccurate! The only highlight is it’s location, and the 7pm-8pm happy hour (free vodka,gin, or rum drinks). Highly overpriced, and a complete disappointment I definitely had high hopes for this hotel (the pictures and descriptions did wonders)

Definitely had a blast at the clubs, I recommend renting a moped because it’s cheaper than getting a cab you can get out and go anywhere and it’s usually a dollar to fill up the tank and it will last you all day. But the restaurants and shops on washington avenue were phenomenal and for the most part the locals are very friendly.

BAD IDEA TO STAY HERE!

With Miami having so many nice hotels you would be really losing by choosing this hotel. The service here is horrible. Front desk staff taking personal calls on there cell phones in the middle of checking you in. Not friendly or helpful at all. IN ADDITION the hotel is extremely loud at night. Now I know south beach is a party town but we were trying to sleep at 3 AM and the hotel is so bad you can hear peoples private conversations in the room next to us, Loud bar next door open until 5AM. Maid service in the morning is so loud she wakes you up with slamming doors and vacuum cleaners. THE FIRE ALARM went off EVERY DAY at 10:30 am. We had to call every day to have someone come and turn it off. Again demonstrating how much the front desk staff think a head for a problem. I could go on but I think you get the point. WASTE OF MONEY
