We shall definetly return to this hotel.
HCC Open is a small hotel located in a very convenient area of Barcelona. The Metro is one block away, numerous restaurants and cafes are in very close proximity, even a Tabac shop where one would buy stamps is across the street. We did not use the restaurant for breakfast. Rooms are very comfortable, clean and the staff is polite, curteous and very helpful.
Traveller's tip on saving a few bucks
Since the hotel is close to a Metro, one can use the Metro to get to the airport shuttle and not use a taxi. Also, there are so many cafes around the hotel that one can have breakfast at a cafe and not in the hotel’s restaurant.

Very Nice Hotel
This is a nice, clean hotel. I recently returned from 2 1/2 weeks in Spain and France, duiring which time I stayed in many hotels. The HCC Open in Barcelona was the 2nd nicest hotel that we stayed in, and was MUCH cheaper than the nicest! The hotel is in a nice, quiet location to the main steet in Barcelona, the Placa Espana and Las Ramblas. Great deal for the money! I definitely enjoyed the stay there.
