Hotel good, food so-so!

The hotel is in Costa Adeje, which like neighbouring Playa de las Americas is a modern tourist center. This brings substantial noise from neighboring discos and drunken tourists--one night until 7am! The room, service and environment were pleasant apart from this. We did half board which was breakfast and either lunch or dinner. The food was okay but after the first day even the variety seemed repetitive. Much of it was bland (or at least not very flavourful) and we found ourselves resorting to things that were simple and had little room for error in the their preparation. Given the choice to make again I would have gone for breakfast only and not half board. There was free secure parking beneath the hotel.

Traveller's tip on recreational activities

Consider taking a day trip on the ferry from Los Cristianos harbour to the island of La Gomera, it is much more authentic Spanish culture and a nice break from the touristy south-west of Tenerife. Alternatively visit the quaint historical towns of either La Laguna or La Orotava in the north and northeast of Tenerife. We loved exploring La Orotava.

Hotel Nina Adeje

Positive points, Staff freindly and helpful. Rooms are good size and are kept very clean daily by the maid. Food excellent with good variety. Nice location. development points, sunbeds, the hotel has a policy of not leaving towels on sunbeds, this is not enforced, and beds can go unused for 4-6 hrs with towels left on them. Hotel looks shabby in places. A good three star but not a four in my opinion.

Great location

Stayed for one week a/inc in march 2008. Hotel in great location. We stayed in pool area during day very pleasant but pool attendant totaly ignored us he was on his mobile most of day. Pool bar staff polite and snacks and drinks ok. Evening meals could have been better. Entertainment was poor the hotel needed some music in the evening in the bar area. Amandas across from hotel is were we went at night as if the hotel had better entertainment we would not have gone out. Yes we would come back here but it needs a few changes.

The News Bar for good night out
