Simply good
Good, clean, functional hotel we had a good size double with smart en suite, very clean room and bathroom. The hotel is well heated.....which is very appreciated in Prague in February, and there was always piping hot water. Tv, mini bar fridge, phone, en suite and safe in room but no tea and coffee making facilities (we took our own travel kettle.....were English,...we need tea!!!) Breakfast is basic, but edible and is available for a decent period of time. All the staff were friendly and helpful and didnt laugh at my attempts to speak Czech, they all seemed to speak English. location is just a short walk from Wenceslas square, very near the I.P Pavlova metro station and the very handy number 22 tram route.
Traveller's tip on dining
Great vegi/vegan restaurant bar just around the corner in Belehradska 120, Praha 1. Good food, good atmosphere.... big measures...... may of influenced my opinion ; )

Great location but on a very busy road!
The hotel was well located about 5-10 mins walk from Wenceslas Square. There were plenty of genuine czech restaurants and cheap chinese buffets nearby. The room was clean and tidy, a few scuffs but generally ok. The room I was given was onto the road so was very noisy but this may of been because I booked it on the same day that I stayed. If you want a bit nicer hotel, I would reccomend the sister hotel Da Vinci which is more modern and a bit nicer.

Fantastic base to explore Prague
Our party of five couples all enjoyed the comfort of this hotel, it was spotless clean, very cosy and warm. It is a leisurely 10 minute walk to the National museum and shopping area, a further 5 minutes to Wenceslas Square and a further 5 minutes to Charles Bridge. Breakfast is served buffet style and provides hot and cold food. It was very good value for money. The only thing that we missed was tea and coffee making facilities in the room, Ill remember to take them with me next time!
Ask for discount when booking trips or paying for admission into venues, we were offered some good savings as a group. We also noticed that if we stayed in a bar the cost of drinks seemed to reduce every time that we ordered!
