Perfect. Aloha spirit. Will chose this hotel again.
The suite has kitchenette, which we appreciated very much. BBQ close by. Site is gorgeous. Pools everywhere. Very quiet. The only thing the sofa bed is really not comfortable!

Delightful, peaceful location, great quality.
The Wyndham Mauna Loa Village is a collection of two-storey buildings arranged as apartments. Many are time-share or owned, others are let out like hotel rooms, which is what we stayed in. The advantage of this is that you get a great apartment - bedroom, huge living room with fully-equipped kitchen off it, bathroom, laundry closet plus second loo. Also, it’s very quiet and peaceful, mostly families and older people, with a golf course on either side of the property. The disadvantage is that you don’t get the full range of hotel extras - there’s no bar, restaurant or room service and only weekly cleaning. However, the Sheraton next door has bars and restaurants if you need them, it’s only a short walk away. The Wyndham Mauna Loa Village is ideal for self-caterers although we didn’t cook for ourselves. But they have thought of everything in the way the apartment is kitted out - for example, there’s washing up liquid, paper towels and powder for the washing machine. In short, all those niggly little extras that you forget you need until you desperately need them! We got a very reasonable price, so we were well satisfied and if had been looking for a self-catering apartment it would have been absolutely perfect. Highly recommended.
There’s a boat ramp a short walk away where you can book tours to go snorkeling with dolphins. It’s wicked!

Large, Bright Spaces
Loved this condo, nice kitchen with lots of extras, popcorn, crystal light, etc. Very large living room and bedroom. Great place to stay. Would go again.
