A tired hotel with beautiful views
This hotel has beautiful views over the Ligurian Sea at Ventimiglia, but you must prepare yourself for a 5km drive with hairpin bends all the way to get up there. The hotel looks tired and could do with a complete refurb, but the staff are pleasant enough and the rooms are adequate for a one-night stop. The restaurant has French Riviera prices, but the food is very good.

Lovely hotel tucked away on a mountain side.
This hotel has got a fantastic view form both the room and the restaurant.
Watch out for the very narow and steep road to the hotel. I will not recommend an evening out with vino and the return in the dark on this road.

Outstanding
Room 10 is one of the best rooms in the hotel that I know of. 180 degree panoramic view of the Med. The staff was wonderful.
They use frozen seafood in the restaurant!!!
