Nice hotel but too far from everything
The accomodations were nice. We had a very private room where we were able to enjoy the scenery, but that quietness also meant that there were not many guests at this resort. It was quite a distance to really do anything as you have to go all the way back to Honolulu in order to get any of the roads to take you anywhere on the island. The hotel desk staff were not at all helpful, either. The poolside resturaunt had some options, but was very pricey. We had a difficult time finding eating choices close to the hotel.

OK if you only want to play golf
The surrounding location of the hotel in Waianae/Makaha is a dump and the beaches are not safe. It takes 45-60 minutes to travel to anything.
Don’t stay at this location unless you just want play golf.
