Hidden gem
Although this hotel is alittle hard to find(all of the taxi drivers can locate it)we would reccommend it highly. The hotel is ultra modern,spotlessly clean, with a wonderful staff.It is about a 10 minute walk to Las Rambles,and many, many restaurants.The front desk people had a great command of english, and were glad to give us many sites to visit, coupons, and how to get there.

Check out the many side streets for great food and lower prices. Las Ramblas is geared to tourists.

Great location, room & ameneties
Having the rooftop pool, free wireless, computers in the lobby and a location just off Las Ramblas, (but clean, quiet and close to the airport bus)for a reasonable price makes this hotel a real find in Barcelona. The room was modern, clean and spacious. I love walking in El Born, and from here it was easy.

Spanish, spotless, superb!
I chose The Hotel Jazz based on previuos excellent reviews, and now I need to add my own! I can’t recommend it highly enough: pleasant staff, very good rooms and cleanliness, fantastic breakfast and to top it all, it’s in a fantastic location. Amazed it’s so reasonably priced, too. If you’re going to Barcelona, give it serious consideration - you won’t be disappointed.
Traveller's tip on getting the most out of your stay
We stayed for three days, and used the open top bus tours to get around - very useful, and lets you pack a lot in and find out about the city. They start from Paza Catalunya, just round the corner from Hotel Jazz, too!
