Ocean Beach Hotel is a Sweet Place to Stay
My daughter and I took our annual girl trip this year in San Diego. We decided to stay at Ocean Beach in the Ocean Beach Hotel. We loved the hotel. The garden is beautiful and our room had a great view of the pier and ocean. The hotel service and fast and professional when we had trouble with our air conditioner. Each staff member was friendly, helpful, knowledgeable, and professional. We will be staying at Ocean Beach Hotel again very soon. Sweet, sweet place to stay. We miss it already!

Wonderful local dining places are all around --try them all because they are all GREAT! Sweet shops, too, for shopping! Have a great time and say Hello to Ocean Beach for us!

Our Every June Destination!
This hotel is wonderful! The staff are great and the view and convienence to everything is the best! OB takes you back to a simpler lifestyle, early 70’s, where everyone is relaxed, easygoing. If you are looking for a highend place, this is not your cup of tea. We go to OB hotel every June and NEVER want to go back home. Soooo tranquil. The courtyard is the greatest, like an Italian courtyard! The ocean is STEPS AWAY from your room!

Hodads is a must to eat lunch at! Huge, tasty sandwiches, always a line, but well worth it. The Townhouse resturaunt is a must for breakfast! The breakfast buritto is to die for!

Great beach view and just across the street.
Being close to the beach was essential and this hotel met that need. I was able to overlook the age and condition of the hotel. The room was very SMALL but clean but with a very strong musty smell. The main service prompt. Refg, microwave and hair dryer were all in place. The afternoon check in clerk was not extremly helpful but the day shift clerk was great. The farmers market was an added bonus.
