Super 8 Motel Columbia East

I would not get a smoking room again there but other wise it was okay.

Nice facilty - too bad it’s so dirty

This was a very nice Super 8 facility. The help at the desk was friendly and helpful. But our room was not clean. I think all that was done was a change of sheets (hopefully) and fresh towels (hopefully). There were hairs on the bathroom counter and on the bathroom floor, the counter had something smeared on it (toothpaste?), the bathroom floor didn’t appear to have been scrubbed, the tub floor was terribly stained (ever heard of bleach?), there was residue of dried beverage on the furniture, actual dried residue from food on a piece of furniture, popcorn under the edge of both beds, the carpet was dusty along the walls, trash behind the TV, & heavy dust on the TV table around the TV. I think the vacuum was run down the main walkway and that was it. After notifying the front desk about a different room, requesting one that had been cleaned by a different maid, we found the room to be in much the same condition, so stayed in the original, where I had already wiped up the bathroom floor. No sense doing it again in the next room.

Worth the $

This hotel was a nice bargain & very close to amenities without being right in the middle of everything, if you are looking for a little bit of quiet. It was very clean, pool area was kept very well & stocked with pool towels.

We recently went on a three week trip and stayed at eighteen different hotels in varying price ranges. This was one of the nicest hotels we stayed at and one of the least expensive. It is new, clean, well maintained, and staffed with congenial and helpful employees.Pa

Columbia trip

The hotel was very clean and modern and we had a very good stay. The staff was friendly and helpful. There are two Super 8 motels along I-70 in Columbia and I think this is the better of the two. Complaints are minor: the room air conditioner was a bit too noisy. The breakfast was not that good although I did enjoy the coffee.

Many nice features - breakfast + indoor pool

It was just a little noisy as our room was by the exit door.

Great hotel for the price

We were very pleased with the hotel. The room was very nice and we had a good time in the pool and hottub. The only complaint was there was a smell of smoke in the hallways, pretty strong

Good Value

The hotel staff was very courteous and willing to work with my schedule. Not a 5 star hotel, but worth the money spent.

Not Bad for the Price

The hotel was off the main drag, but only 5 minutes from the MIZZOU campus. The room was clean and the morning breakfast was average. The room was relatively quite, although we could hear footsteps in the room above us. Parking was a bit limited, but it had good access to I-70. I would stay there again.

Check out the various Columbia food establishments just north of the campus. We had some excellent food and service there.

I was impressed with the cleanliness of the motel. That is my top priority when it comes to bringing my children.

Bring a bathing suit as it does have an indoor pool as well as a continental breakfast served in the morning.

Hussle and Bussel Retreat

Had a very relaxing stay after shopping all day. We were able to get up refreshed after a good night’s sleep and enjoy some Church time with family.James
