The Grand Hotel Suisse-Majestic is a four star hotel set in the very heart of Montreux, on the shores of the beautiful lake of Geneva and very close to the shopping area and the railway station. The Belle Epoque style architecture and it's grandeur encourage crativity and relaxation. Modernity and tradition are pleasently mixed.

Pleasant staff, great location
This hotel is a Belle Epoque hotel in Montreux. Though a 4 star, dont’ expect similar style to a brand new hotel. This is old world charming. Right across from the train station and facing the lake. Lovely second floor terrace overlooking the lake. Pleasant staff. Room was not large but was comfortable except for squishy pillows I need to sleep propped up). Also no fan in bathroom which made things rather steamy. Other than that, it was very pleasant. Free internet in a little room off the lobby, which was very nice.

Supercalifragilistic!
Hotel was fantastic, beautifully located on the shores of Lake Geneva, friendly staff with exceptional rooms and service standards. Would thoroughly recommend for business or pleasure.

Wonderful view
We were fortunate to have a room overlooking the lake and the view was fabulous. The room was on the top floor in a part of the hotel yet to be refurbished. However the rate was excellent and the room very comfortable. The proximity to the railway station (just across the road) is really useful and its only a short walk to the boats.
Traveller's tip on local attractions
In summer try the market at Vevey, just around the lake. They have a wine tasting on Saturdays and it’s excellent
