Not impressed
The price wasnt bad and the location was good. But the rooms were a bit on the shabby side and getting the staff to actually put food on the breakfast buffet platters was tough on both mornings we were there. As Casablanca itself is not worth more than a day visit, if you had to stay in the city, Id suck it up and spend more on a nicer place to stay.

A Tips Oriented Hotel
The staff in this hotel views you from the Prism of the Tip they expect to receive. The room maid was aggressively reminding me that her duty would end at 4 PM (and thus, had to tipped - for what? I wonder). Likewise, the porter taking luggage to my room was attentive till such time he got his tip and did not acknowledge my presence the next time he saw me. I would expect to pay about USD 40 for this room and not the amount I was charged. While the room itself was clean, the outside veranda was very dirty. The breakfast room was crowded with people and I was shoe-horned into a table with no cutlery in front of me. Getting to the breakfast buffet was like being in a crowded bazaar. Not at all happy with his hotel.

Passable
The Kenzi Bazma hotel is centrally located in Casablanca, Morocco. The staff is pleasant and helpful. The rooms are a bit shabby and the neighborhood is so-so. The upsides: the hotel is not particularly expensive and it is just one block away from the Hyatt (where you can go for a drink or dinner for a more upscale experience - $$$).
