Great base.
The Hotel Senator is a great place to camp. Being in the middle of the downtown area, there are all the things you need nearby, resturants, Starbucks, Saskatoon’s premier mall & bus depot. Plus it is walking distance of everything in the city from the University Campus to Broadway (some great curiousity shops) to every riverside park. With the addition of Winston’s English Pub downstairs and Rembrants restuarant (Prairie Painters breakfast is a must), you don’t have to go far for anything. Will definately use it again next time in Sask!
Traveller's tip for business travellers
If you don’t like walking, and are planning on spending time visiting the area, get a car. I chose to walk everywhere which is fine, unless it’s raining/snowing, which it seems to do in any season.
