Comfort in Marrakech
The Kenzi Farah was a very lucky choice for us. We were in Morocco just for the weekend, and had no experience of Marrakech before - so found the hotel to be conveniently situated about equidistant between the old and new towns - about ten miutes walk in either direction. The rooms were clean, air-conditioned, and quiet. The pool was fine, and we also made use of the spa facilities for a hammam, sauna and a massage, all delivered very competently. A nice way to escape the 104 degree temperatures outside for an hour or two. We ate mostly outside the hotel, but the one light meal we had at the Kenzi was excellent and good value.
Traveller's tip on shopping
Dont be tempted to bu a tortoise or a gecko in the market!

Nice view and location
The Hotel is in good location, it has very nice view, my room was looking on the hotel green area & the swimming pool. The services was very good & the staff were friendly & very cooperative, the breakfast was nice. Only the air condition sound in my room was slightly high & I believe that the fan need repair.

Wont be back
Some employees were very nice, others were not. One woman at the desk wanted to negotiate the price of excursions. Room was big, beds ok, blankets rough. Bathrooms ceiling was falling down and had mildew. I think the new part of the hotel is probably nicer. Pool area is nice, but not enough umbrellas, and you have the daily fight for a chaise ritual to deal with.
Traveller's tip on local attractions
I know many people love the sights, sounds and smells of Marrakesh. For me and my kids, is was dirty, dangerous (no traffic lights, scooters in narrow pedestrian areas, etc) and polluted. Constant harrassment the moment you leave the hotel, EVERYONE is looking to hustle you, people touch you in the streets. I could go on and on. Go anywhere else.
