Oeiras’ Best Hotel
The hotel staff were extremely helpful, hospitable & accommodating. The service was impeccable & I have no hesitation in recommending this hotel to anyone.
Traveller's tip on getting the most out of your stay
Be aware that you have to get a taxi to the train station & back as it’s not within walking distance. The nearest train station is Paco de Arcos & it’s a 20 minute train ride to the city of Lisbon.

verygood hotel..but too fare fr everything
the hotel stuff was very good .It was fare fr the metro or tube. noplace to eat besides the hotel resturant

Comfortable but out in the sticks hotel.
The hotel is actually in Paco Da Arcos and is mostly used by business people for overnight stays. There are three very large Business Parks nearby so there is a constant coming and going of business people while the hotel hosts conventions on most days. The hotel is built on a hill, consequently there is a refreshing breeze at the poolside where it can be quite cool, even in July. The hotel has a courtesy minibus that we used quite frequently to get to the local rail station at Paco Da Arcos. If the bus was unavailable, it cost 5 Euros by taxi. Be warned, there are no shops around this hotel - it is in a residential/business area. There is one local cafe and tabacconist and that is it. We regularly made trips using the excellent train service to Lisbon in one direction and Cascais in the other. Fares are very cheap, for example we never paid more than 2.4 Euros return fare from Paco Da Arcos to any destination. Cascais, Estoril, Belem and of course Lisbon are all "must visits" as is Sinta and its wonderful palaces. The staff are wonderful, very obliging and friendly and at reception everyone spoke English. Breakfast was more than adequate with plenty of choice. We would not, however, recommend this hotel for parents with children as it is "out of the way" but it is ideal for couples who do not mind using public transport to get around, being midway between Cascais and Lisbon - both about 25 minutes away by train.

Do not bother to hire a car,use public transport because it is so cheap and easy to use compared to the U.K.

good over all
it would of been nice to have a lounge bar area to retire after an evening meal. Otherwise a lovley hotel.
