Hopewell Rocks is located along the coast of the Bay of Fundy, home to the world's highest tides. Every six hours the tide recedes and you can walk along two kilometers of the ocean floor. Explore among the shadows of rock formationscalled "flowerpot rocks”shaped by erosion and ebb and flow of the tides. The award-winning park features an interactive, interpretive center that offers you an opportunity to learn more about the tidal phenomena, plus the natural and human history of the area. Groomed walking trails offer day hikers a pleasant trek to the eight decks along the coast, each one offering a distinctive panorama of the mighty Bay of Fundy.|
To fully appreciate the tidal phenomena, you are encouraged to experience both high and low tides. To help you better experience both, this pass is valid for two consecutive days. While Hopewell Rocks is largely a self-directed site, interpretive staff members are available throughout the site to answer questions.
- 2 consecutive day pass to the Hopewell Rocks self-directed site
