Board a boat at Embankment Pier for a 15-minute ride to London Bridge. Pass the National Theatre and Southbank. Pass under several famous London bridges, including Waterloo, Blackfriars, Southwark, and Millennium.|
Disembark at the London Bridge and take a stroll along the River Thames. Pass the "Clink," a museum that was converted from a 12th-century prison. See the Golden Hind, a replica vessel of the ship made famous by Sir Francis Drake in 1597. Head further along the Thames and stop at Anchor pub. Dine on a traditional fish-and-chips dinner and grab an English ale before continuing on your walk.
Make your way to the Globe Theatre. Built in 1997, this new theatre was constructed to replace Shakespeare’s original theatre, which was built in 1599.
Head to the George pub, a converted 17th-century old coaching house, for a nightcap. See the Tower Bridge on your way back to Trafalgar Square and finish off the evening at a pub, club, or head back to your hotel to relax.
