Led by knowledgeable and experienced Miami-Dade Parks naturalist guides, this eco-tour offers kayaking and snorkeling with an introduction to the natural history and ecology of Biscayne Bay’s warm, tropical waters. You’ll discover tropical fish, spotted eagle rays, sea stars, and numerous coastal birds in and around the biologically rich bay.

Duration:
Approx. 3 1/2 hours

Available:
Daily; tour does not operate on Christmas Eve or Christmas Day. The snorkeling portion of the tour may be subject to weather conditions and may be changed or excluded without notice.

Departure time and location:
9 AM; from the Crandon Visitor and Nature Center

Return time and location:
1 PM; to the Crandon Visitor and Nature Center

Note:
Reservations are required. You will not be guaranteed a place on this eco-tour without contacting Miami-Dade Parks at least 3 days prior to the day you wish to participate in this activity; the customer service phone number appears on your printed voucher(s). All participants must be at least 9 years old. Participants 9 to 18 years of age are welcome, but must have a Release of Liability form completed by a parent or legal guardian. Be sure to bring snacks, water, sunscreen, insect repellant, a long-sleeve shirt, and a wide-brimmed hat. Miami-Dade Parks suggests storing your personal belongings in a sealable plastic bag or other water-tight plastic container. Miami-Dade County regulations require that participants wear life vests at all times.

Redemption instructions

After booking your activities or services—3 easy steps:
1. Print your voucher; locate the voucher in your travel confirmation e-mail or in the My Trips/My Itineraries link on the site.
2. Follow the redemption instructions on your voucher; it iscritical to do this before you depart.
3. Take all vouchers with you; for each transfer, you must redeem one voucher per person.

How to redeem your voucher(s):
Reservations are required. You will not be guaranteed a place on this eco-tour without contacting Miami-Dade Parks at least 3 days in advance of your arrival to arrange a tour date. You may also arrange hotel pick-up when making your reservations. Please bring your voucher(s) and photo identification to the address listed on your voucher(s). You will need to arrive at least 15 minutes prior to the tour departure time (9 AM or 2 PM) to allow time to check in. Present your voucher(s) to the naturalist guide upon arrival at the Crandon Visitor and Nature Center.
Terms and conditions

Cancellations and Changes: This Activity can be changed or cancelled without penalty at any time prior to two days before the scheduled start of your trip. The scheduled start of your trip is defined as your hotel check-in date, your departure date of the originating flight, or the date of the Activity if the Activity was booked without a flight or a hotel.
