Now in its first Broadway revival, South Pacific won seven 2008 Tony Awards® and has been playing to sold-out houses since its first preview in March 2008. Considered by many to be the finest musical ever written, South Pacific’s score includes the favorites, “Some Enchanted Evening,” “Bali Ha'I,” and “A Wonderful Guy.” Also a deeply-felt drama, South Pacific’s portrayal of Americans stationed in an alien culture during wartime is as relevant today as when it first thrilled audiences in 1949.
