    • Nectar is the UK's largest loyalty programme. It allows you to collect points while shopping online with Expedia and in your favourite retail stores. Any points you collect can be spent on all sorts of treats from a holiday to a new wardrobe.

    • How can I sign up?

    • Do I have to be a UK citizen to join?

    • How old do I have to be to collect Nectar points on Expedia?

      To be a Primary Nectar collector you must be 18 or older. Additional Collectors must also be over 18 except where they are on the Nectar account of their parent or legal guardian and the relevant Primary Collector is responsible for them and accepts they may redeem points for rewards.     • If my card's lost, stolen or damaged, what do I do?

      Simply visit Nectar.com where you can manage your own account, including placing a request for a replacement card to be sent to you. Alternatively, call the Nectar Helpline team on 0344 811 0811. They're available from 8am to 8pm weekdays and from 9am to 5pm at weekends. Nectar will send you a replacement card, and more importantly, ensure any points you have already collected are safe.

    • How do I update my Nectar account if my details change?

      To update your account simply go to Nectar.com where you can manage your own account. Alternatively, call the Nectar Helpline team on 0203 027 5943. They're available from 8am to 8pm weekdays and from 9am to 5pm at weekends.

    • What can I collect Nectar points on with Expedia?

      You can collect 200 Nectar points when you book a hotel, a flight or hire a car with Expedia. Book a tailor made package by combining 2 or more of these products (i.e. flight + hotel, flight + car, flight + hotel + car) and you will collect 1,000 Nectar points.

    • Is there anything I can't collect on with Expedia?

      You can only collect Nectar points with Expedia on hotel, flight or car hire bookings or tailor made package combinations of these products (i.e. flight + hotel, flight + car, flight + hotel + car). Other products and services available through Expedia, for example activities or cottage bookings are not eligible for Nectar points.

    • What are the minimum requirements to collect Nectar points?

      To collect Nectar points on Expedia.co.uk you need to have a Nectar card and then book either a hotel, flight, tailor made package (flight + hotel, flight + car, flight + car + hotel) or hire a car. If you don't have Nectar card you can easily sign up to Nectar on Nectar.com.

    • How do I know how many Nectar points I can collect with Expedia?

      You will be able to see the number of Nectar points you can collect for each hotel, flight, car or package during your booking process on expedia.co.uk as well as on the confirmation page once you have completed your transaction.

    • How do I collect them?

      When making a booking on Expedia.co.uk enter the last 11 digits of your Nectar card number in the dedicated box on the confirmation page. (see example below) If you complete your booking over the phone with the Expedia call centre you will need to quote your Nectar card number to the call operator. Your points will then be credited to your account 30 days after you have completed your travel.

    • How can I maximise the number of Nectar points I get for a booking?

      If you choose to tailor make your own package by combining your hotel, flight or car rental (flight+hotel, flight+car, flight+hotel+car), you will be able to collect 1,000 Nectar points for each package booking made.

      Furthermore, if you pay for your transaction using the Nectar Credit Card you'll be able to collect 2 Nectar points for every £1 spent in addition to the points collected with Expedia. For further information on the Nectar Credit Card visit Nectar.com

    • When will points collected with Expedia to show in my Nectar account?

      Once you have completed your Expedia booking and entered your Nectar card number on the confirmation page, your Nectar points will then be credited to your account 30 days after travel.

    • Can I change the Nectar card number associated with a booking?

      Once you have submitted a Nectar card number for a trip you've booked, it is not possible to change the card number the points will be allocated to.

    • Is there any limit to the number of Nectar points I can collect on Expedia?

      No. You only have a limit for the transaction you make, depending on the type of product you book.

      You can collect 200 Nectar points when you book a hotel, a flight or hire a car. Booking a package by combining 2 or more of these products (flight+hotel, flight+car, flight+hotel+car) will allow you to collect 1,000 Nectar points.

    • Do my Nectar points expire?

    • Once I've submitted my Nectar card number, will the number be automatically applied to other trips I booked and/or will be booking in the future?

      No. You will need to re-enter your Nectar card number on the confirmation page each time you make a booking.

    • Can multiple travellers collect Nectar points on the same itinerary by entering more than one customer's Nectar card number?

      No. The total Nectar points collected for the whole booking will be added to one Nectar account nominated by you.

    • How can I find out how many Nectar points I have collected?

      Simply visit Nectar.com. Once you have registered your online account you can see all your points activity and your balance. You can also make changes to your account choices and order your treats.

    • Do I still collect points if I complete a booking over the phone?

      Yes. Please call the helpline on 0330 123 1235 and quote your Nectar card number to the Expedia call centre operator

    • I didn't have my Nectar card with me; can I claim the points I would have collected?

      Yes. Please go to our email form to claim your Nectar points. You will have to provide your Expedia itinerary number and Nectar card number (this will start with 98263000). Missing point claims can only be submitted up to 6 months from the date you return from your travel.

    • 30 days has passed since I have completed my trip and I still haven't received my points

    • What happens if I cancel a booking?

      If you cancel a trip, you will lose the Nectar points collected with this booking.

    • What happens if I cancel part of a tailor made package?

      If you cancel an element of your package booking with Expedia, the Nectar points issued will reflect the remaining elements of the booking. For example:

      1. If you tailor make a flight+hotel+car package and you cancel just the hotel, no points will be deducted from your account and you'll be still able to collect 1,000 Nectar points for this booking.
      2. If you book a flight+hotel package and have to cancel the flight, you'll have 200 points assigned to your Nectar account instead of the original 1,000.

  • I received a bonus Nectar points offer from Expedia, how do I collect the points?

    To collect your bonus Nectar points you need to read carefully the information contained on the coupon or on the email you have received and use the web address specified. Then don't forget to enter your Nectar card number on the booking confirmation page.

      Call our helpline on 0203 027 5943 and ask the operator to debit the relevant points in your Nectar account and add a voucher to your Expedia account. If you specify the trip type you plan to book; the agent can advise you on the voucher that best suits your needs. Once the voucher is added to your account you can either ask the operator to make the booking for you straight away or you can redeem it later online.

    • I already have a voucher, how do I apply it to my bookings?

      Follow steps described here.

    • Is there a limit to the number of vouchers I can redeem?

      You can convert as many vouchers as your points balance will allows; however you can only apply one voucher to each Expedia booking.

    • Do my vouchers expire?

      Yes. Your vouchers are valid for one year. You’ll be able to see the details of your vouchers, including the voucher expiry date, by visiting 'My Profile' (you can find the link to it in the yellow bar at the top of almost any page on the Expedia.co.uk site) and then clicking on the “Vouchers” link in the left-hand column.

    • How can I find out which voucher I’ve redeemed or already used?

      To view your saved vouchers, go to the My Profile page (You can access this page by clicking on 'My Profile' in the yellow bar at the top of almost any page on the Expedia.co.uk site). Then click on 'Vouchers' in the left-hand column. You will be able to see the voucher details such as the validity end date or the redemption state.

    • Can I redeem Nectar points and complete a booking over the phone?

      Yes. Please call the redemption helpline on 0203 027 5943 and ask the operator to add a voucher into your Expedia account. Please remember to specify for which trip you are planning to use the voucher; the agent will add the voucher to your account and finalise the booking for you straight away.

    • What happens if I cancel a booking?

      If you cancel a trip, you will lose the Nectar points you redeemed on that trip. Your voucher cannot be reused and the Nectar points will not be refunded to your Nectar account. Expedia usual cancellation policy will be applied on the cash part of the booking.

    • Can I collect Nectar points on a voucher redemption booking?

      No. If you use a Nectar voucher against a trip booked on Expedia.co.uk, you won’t be able to collect Nectar points on that specific trip.

Claiming Nectar points

If you did not enter your Nectar card number at the time of booking or you have not received your Nectar points 30 days after travel:

- Go to our email form
- Fill out the fields and provide your Expedia itinerary number and Nectar card number (this will start with 98263000)
- Nectar points claims can only be submitted up to 6 months from the date you return from your travel

Please submit one request per itinerary number, any additional itineraries will not be processed.

Nectar Terms and Conditions

Nectar, a free rewards programme, has made arrangements with Expedia.co.uk to offer its customers the opportunity to earn Nectar points (“Nectar Points”) for travel arrangements made through Expedia.co.uk. After Expedia transfers the Nectar Points you collected to your Nectar Member Account, those points can be used to redeem a voucher with Expedia (“Reward Voucher”) which you can spend on Expedia.co.uk. The Nectar Points you collect will also be eligible to be redeemed for other Nectar Network rewards.

Nectar registration is completely optional and is not required for use of the Expedia.co.uk web site. The following rules apply to Expedia customers who choose to participate in Nectar while using Expedia.co.uk. Expedia reserves the right to change these program rules (including items' eligibility to earn points, as well as point-earning levels) at any time without additional notice. Users are deemed to be apprised of and bound by all new changes once they are posted.

      Expedia is one of Nectars sponsors, through whom you can earn points. To receive Nectar Points for a booking on Expedia.co.uk, you must submit a valid Nectar card number via the Expedia travel confirmation page or via our call centre before the day of travel. The Nectar card used must be registered in the same name as the Expedia user account. Missing point claims can only be submitted up to 6 months from the date you return from your travel.

      Expedia reserves the right to rescind at any time any Nectar Points that were granted for unused travel items. Nectar Points will be rescinded in cases where a customer receives a refund, from either Expedia or a travel vendor, and/or for travel items for which Nectar Points were granted. Furthermore, Nectar points will be rescinded in cases where a customer appears to have made an attempt to gain unfair benefit above that which could normally have been expected from their booking on Expedia.co.uk (e.g. booking a series of one-night hotel stays in order to obtain Nectar points on a per night rather than a per trip basis). Affiliates participating in Expedia's Travel Agent Program are not entitled to collect Nectar points on Expedia.co.uk. Any customers booking via affiliates participating in Expedia's Travel Agent Program are also not entitled to collect Nectar points on Expedia.co.uk.

    • Exclusions

    • Redeeming Nectar Points on Expedia.co.uk

      Nectar Collectors can redeem Nectar Points on Expedia.co.uk by calling (0203 027 5943). An Expedia agent will convert your Nectar Points into a Reward Voucher and apply it to your Expedia user account. Once a Reward Voucher has been applied to your Expedia account, you can:

      1. Make a telephone booking; or
      2. Reserve the voucher to use online at Expedia.co.uk

      The minimum number of Nectar Points you can redeem is 2,000 points which can be converted to a £10 Reward Voucher. Once you have reached 2,000 points you can redeem a higher voucher every 500 points that you convert.

      Reward Vouchers will be valid for 12 months from the month in which they are added to customers’ Expedia accounts and cannot be used to pay additional charges such as amendment / cancellation charges, credit / debit card charges, insurance, taxes and surcharges, which must be paid by the customer at the time of booking.

      If a booking is made by redeeming points and paying cash, points cannot be earned on the cash element of the booking.

      Expedia’s normal cancellation policy will apply to cancellation of reward bookings. In the event of cancellation, Reward Vouchers and/or points are not refundable.

      In addition to the above, each reward booking is subject to Expedia’s own booking terms conditions as well as those of the supplier with which the booking is made.

      Nectar Collectors who would like to redeem their points on more than one hotel room in the same trip must notify the Expedia agent at the earliest opportunity. These hotel rooms will be booked on separate itineraries

      Customers can redeem Reward Vouchers on the following products on Expedia.co.uk:

      1. Flights;
      2. ’Expedia Special Rate‘ hotels;

    • Exclusions

      Customers cannot redeem Reward Vouchers in relation to other Expedia products and services, including:

      1. Car hire (unless as part of a flight+hotel+car package booking);
      2. Hotels other than ‘Expedia Special Rate’ hotels;
      3. Activities and services;
      4. Insurance;
      5. Cottage bookings.
