Bars and Nights Out

Drai's
3595 S Las Vegas Blvd Call for info: (702) 737 0555
Ready for a scene straight outta Hollywood? 'Drai' is an LA producer and restaurateur to the starlets. Things don't really get going until the wee hours. A good dance floor and DJs spinning progressive house keep the fashion plates happy. Dress to impress.
Admission: full $20.00
Sand Dollar Blues Lounge
3355 Spring Mountain Rd Call for info: (702) 871 6651
A few doors down from a Harley repair shop, this unpretentious club is the only one in town featuring blues nightly. It's smoky, casual and nautical-themed, with video poker and pool tables, and draws a mixed, mostly local crowd. The Ethiopian-run Italian café next door serves good grub until late.
Admission: full $5.00
O
3600 S Las Vegas Blvd Call for info: 888 488 7111Fri-Tue 19:30, 22:30
Eau (French for water) is living and breathing surrealism fully realized in 3-D. A talented international cast - performing in, on and above H2O - tells the tale of theatre through the ages. Cirque du Soleil's first venture into aquatic theater is truly a spectacular feat of the imagination.
Admission: full $110.00
Double Down Saloon
4640 Paradise Rd Call for info: (702) 791 5775
Only in Vegas: an upscale dive bar where punk rules. The jukebox rawks garage, ska, swing, surf, lo-fi, rockabilly and broken blues. Spray paint murals decorate every square inch. Don't pass up the vibrating mechanical pony after you try the house-speciality, Ass Juice. Free live shows, never a cover.
Wayne Newton Theatre
3000 Las Vegas Blvd South Call for info: (702) 617 5577 (888) 217 9565
For the classic, old-time Vegas experience, stop by the Stardust's own Wayne Newton Theatre, where Mr Las Vegas himself performs for forty weeks in the year in all his glittery glory. Treat yourself to a night of tradtional Vegas schtick.
Admission: full $55.00
