Ibiza Holidays, Spain Measuring 45 by 25 kilometres, the prevalent image of Ibiza is perpetual partying. This is only true of San Antonio, Playa d’en Bossa and Ibiza Town by night. By day, the latter, with its hippy-chic shops and narrow whitewashed streets, is a highlight for all visitors. Much of Ibiza is undeveloped with beautiful sandy beaches and coves, and typical Balearic villages. The island of Formentera, 45 minutes south, is a popular excursion.
Playa den Bossa Holidays, Spain This highly-developed resort features the longest beach (2.5 kilometres) on the island with a wide choice of water sports and family entertainment, including Ibiza’s largest water park. The beach is backed by low-rise self-catering apartments. Clubbers come here for its dozens of bars and raucous nightlife, most famously at Space and Bora Bora. A marina attracts a well-heeled party crowd, and offers boat trips.
San Antonio Abad Holidays, Spain San Antonio Abad is the island’s second largest resort. Attracting families and young clubbers, it offers a variety of water sports from its numerous small beaches. Nearby, the beaches at Cala Conta are some of the island’s best. On the north side of the bay, densely-developed San Antonio is the Med’s central party zone, famous for its rave clubs and blazing sunsets. The top pre-clubbing hang out is the legendary and original Café del Mar.
Santa Eulalia del Rio Holidays, Spain A popular destination for families and couples seeking a quieter holiday, Santa Eulalia has maintained some of its original character. Its small Old Town clusters around a 16th-century church. A palm-lined promenade runs along a broad sandy beach backed by high-rise hotels, and its marina is a popular place for diving. For more seclusion take a trip to Aigües Blanques 10 kilometres away, one of the island’s best beaches – clothing optional!
