As we drove up all I could think of was "This is scary!" Grounds were unkempt, building old, only outside stairs and when we got inside our room, the chain lovk was gone, the sink counter was broken like someone jumped on it, and one of the drawers kept coming open because it was uneven. And heard sirens all night long. To top it off, had to pay $50 for an Uber to the airport. Only bright spot was one of the staff who went out of her way to help us.

The location of this property is quite convenient if you have business on UT campus. The room was disappointing though for the following reasons: the smoke detector had been ripped out of the wall, there was a very noticeable rip in the (dirty) carpet, the bathroom wall had writing on it, the toilet's flush lever chain was too long so the tank would perpetually fill until you opened it up to manually adjust it, and the whole room smelled a bit musty. My room wasn't nice, but the linens were clean. The breakfast was small (i.e., yogurt, a few bread items, two cereals, microwavable oatmeal packs, and coffee; apples and oranges were there my second morning), but welcome.

The property needs to be renovated completely. Form trying to get in the room, was not able to because the handle would not turn the backseat. The card key worked but the door would not open. The sink drain was clogged up. The AC unit was in very poor shape. Very disappointed, Days Inn have been a good choice before but now I will surely be looking for better options.

Hotel should have been torn down 20 years ago. No door was secure. All doors were loose. Locks were loose and no good lighting in park and lot
