I highly recommend this place. The office staff are so friendly and helpful. The room was clean, spacious, and comfortable. The breakfast was good and they even had plant-based milk which I appreciated. Quick drive to great restaurants and the aquarium. I would definitely stay again if I was in the area

The Colton Inn is a simple, no frills stay. We feel very comfortable staying there, and we are picky when it comes to cleanliness. It’s a great place if you’re traveling with kids or friends. We love the walkability. We always had everything we needed without having to ask. Only thing that could be improved upon is the breakfast. Or you can just skip it all together. The breakfast area is so small that it makes it difficult to get what you want, and awkward if you’re not into communing with strangers first thing in the morning. But overall a nice place, especially for the price… we have stayed there 3 times, and will be back.

The staff are very friendly and helpful. HWY 1 had land sliding the day before we arrived. The front desk posted the note immediately. Our Big Sur trip had to cancel. The staff suggested us to go to 17-Mike drive. That is a great substitute. The hotel is close to police station, very safe. It’s quite. The breakfast area is cozy and neat. Very close to many attractions, like camel by the sea, 17 Mile drive, pebble bay, big surf. I highly recommend it.
