Riding the range

		Rugged mountains cut across Oahu, creating lush highlands and steep valleys. You can hike, bike, or do as the paniolos (Hawaiian cowboys) do, ride horseback. Saddle up on a trail ride offered by the Kualoa Ranch and get a close-up look at the spectacular Koolau Range. The ranch also has a favourite photo-op stop for kids: the tree under which Sam Neill and the children hid from marauding dinosaurs during a scene in Jurassic Park.
