One of the most famous shave ice shops on Oahu is Matsumoto's, in business for half a century in the artsy North Shore town of Haleiwa. In Haleiwa you'll find great espresso, outdoor clothing stores and surfers galore. In winter the huge surf along this shore rolls into the daunting Banzai Pipeline and other not-for-novice breaks.
