There are about as many golf courses in the Tahoe basin as there are ski resorts. With courses lying at roughly 6,200 feet in elevation, your ball will travel 6 to 10 percent farther here than at sea level. After your game, check out the casino action on the Nevada side of the lake. And for extra kicks, Reno is only 45 minutes away.
