Celebrations of tradition and hopes for the future are themes of some of the hundreds of murals in San Francisco's largely Latino Historic Mission District. See dozens of these colourful murals on a walking tour through the Precita Eyes Mural Arts and Visitor Center, on Precita Avenue. The district's Mission Dolores, built by Spanish missionaries in 1776, is the oldest building in the city.
