When the famous San Francisco fog comes rolling in, you'll want to be on Fisherman's Wharf. Turn your back to the city and inhale the misty sea air; the cries of gulls and boats creaking at their moorings will make you feel like a genuine old salt. Visit in the early morning, before shops and amusements bring out the crowds.
