This covered bridge on the Swift River is one of more than 50 still standing in New Hampshire. The Swift River lives up to its name with rapids and falls as it runs through the White Mountains along the Kancamagus Highway (SR-112). Campgrounds, picnic areas, hiking trails, and scenic overlooks can extend a driving tour of the Kanc into an all-day or weekend affair.
