Landscaped in the English picturesque style, St. James's Park is considered one of the most romantic parks in London. This oldest member of the Royal Parks family (it was a hunting ground for Henry VIII) is within sight of Buckingham Palace. If you're on your own, bring a notebook, find a quiet bench, and see if you aren't inspired to write a poetic stanza or two.
