This stone snowman could be standing guard on Mars, so eerie and unworldly is the landscape. In fact, it's one of countless bizarre rock and lava formations within the geologically unique Garden of the Gods in Kanepu'u. Come at sunrise or sunset, when the pinnacles cast strange shadows, and the boulders and red earth are set aflame by the lowering sunlight.
