Just down the road from the Bob Marley Museum is Kingston's grandest home, Devon House, built by Jamaica's first black millionaire in 1881. George Stiebel made his money in gold mining and land speculation. Today the impeccable antique-filled mansion is open to the public for tours and the grounds contain restaurants and craft shops.
